As an elementary teacher I was excited to purchase Teresa the Teacher for my niece who was studying to be an educator! The details of the doll that relates to her occupation drew me to purchase the doll. Also, the story that comes with the doll fits the profession. It was a perfect gift! I also own Teresa. She is displayed in her box for friends and family to view. It’s a great collectible.
Philip the Physician reminds me of my own doctor; a family practitioner to be respected and admired. Philip’s facial expression is one of compassion and maturity. Anyone aspiring to becoming a physician would like to have this doll as a collectible.
Norma caught my eye because I was interested in becoming a nurse myself. The book that tells Norma’s story could be the story of any child pursing a career in nursing. Her clothes look so realistic and I love how she has a posable body so she can fit on a shelf or even in my hand! I am so happy with this little doll!
I love Jordan the Journalist. Her mouth is formed in such a way that she looks as if she is in mid speech and quite intense while reporting some exciting news! Jordan is very realistic with the background picture in the box and the clothes she is wearing, especially the details of her trench coat and boots. This doll will make a great gift for a future or current journalist.
I have always been intrigued about the courtroom process and the career of an attorney. Laura the Lawyer comes to life with the picture in the background of the jury taking the oath. This doll looks very professional by the way she dresses and I enjoy her personal story in the booklet that comes with her. This doll will make a nice gift for my daughter who is a practicing attorney. This collectible is a wonderful tribute to her profession.
Teresa the Teacher tells my story. The book that explains why Teresa became a teacher could be my own. I even taught third grade as she does. This collectible is on a shelf in my home where she is nicely displayed. Teresa has bendable legs so she can even sit on the top of my computer. Please consider buying Teresa if you have a teacher in your home or a young person wanting to become one. You won’t be disappointed with this little gem!

I have seen other dolls based on professions but none with this type of detail or accuracy. The soft-sculpted vinyl is an order of magnitude better than the cheap Barbie type dolls. Also the booklet in both the Norma and Jordan remind me of the stories I have heard from friends who are in those professions. Nice job, Everyday People!
These are some of the nicest designed dolls I have seen on the market. The clothing quality, the attention to detail in the accessories, and the very lifelike faces sets them apart from many other dolls in this category.
Teresa reminded me of my third grade teacher many years ago. Someone dedicated to her profession and understanding that what she does on a daily basis will reap rewards for others years later.
